Chuck Freedman

Chuck Freedman has recently joined Boston-based litl as Chief Channel Evangelist. The team is working on the first public release of their AS3-based SDK, which will allow content & services providers as well as 3rd party developers to build engaging applications and litl channels for the growing world of litl device owners.

While Director of Developer Platform at Ribbit, Chuck coded, deployed and evangelized Ribbit’s telephony platform to a community that grew to over 6,000 developers within its first year. As a direct result of this effort and innovation, Ribbit was acquired by BT for $105 million in July, 2008.

A graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, Chuck loves engaging developers and has spoken at several conferences on Flash platform technologies. In the past few years he has appeared at Adobe MAX, Flash On the Beach, FlashForward, MashupCamp, FITC (both in Toronto and Hollywood), Yahoo! Public Hack Day, Where 2.0, Apollo Camp, 360|Flex (Seattle, Atlanta and San Jose), Dreamforce, MIT EmTech, Harvard, Oxford, Flash Camp, Apollo/AIR Camp and several other industry events. Chuck was invited back to Boston University in April 2007 and proudly conducted a lecture to students and faculty interested in Flash and Flex.
