Take the Flashliner bus from Boston to NYC

Take the Flashliner bus from Boston to NYC

Having traveled Amtrak/Acela from Boston to NYC several times in 2009, I can honestly say it’s a much better experience than flying. No TSA lines, cheaper tickets, a convenient drop off in midtown and many other reasons made it my preferred means of zipping between two of the greatest cities in the world.

As I began to consider how I’d make my way down to Flash And the City from Boston, I realized that more than a dozen colleagues would be making a similar trek down the Northeast corridor. Since such a great part of these conferences is enjoyed by networking and socializing with colleagues and friends, I decided to explore a more intimate way for us coming from the North to get to Flash And The City.

I would like to invite anyone making this trip to join a luxury Flashliner (coach bus), which will depart Boston (sometime Thursday afternoon) and drop us off right at the door of Flash And The City. The bus will be there Monday morning to pick us up and bring us back to Boston early Monday afternoon. [Also, if you're interested in flying into Boston just to join us for the bus ride, you are more than welcome!]

What you need to do:
Reserve your spot on the bus here:
http://www.eventbrite.com/event/552895726.

Benefits:
- Enjoy 4 zippy hours with colleagues and friends on a small, 20 passenger coach bus.
- Enjoy DVD and Wifi (no guaranteed but likely)
- Enjoy your own snacks and beverages (yes, the latter could mean many things…)
- Get dropped off at the door of Flash And The City’s preferred hotel – The Millennium Hilton
- Avoid insane cab/taxi fares from the airport or Penn Station (the hotel is pretty far downtown from Penn)
- Avoid parking fees (in case you were crazy enough to consider driving)
- The roundtrip price for 20 of us is cheaper than a roundtrip Amtrak/Accela ticket.

Price:
I’ve arranged a special roundtrip cost with the bus company :
- $180 (NOTE: If we get more than 15 people, this could go down a bit)
